Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award
Congratulations and well done to former student Ben Taylor who received his Gold Award at a special presentation at Buckingham Palace on Monday. Ben was a student at Cleeve Park School between 2014 and 2022 (Years 7 to 13). After achieving some outstanding results in his A Levels he was offered a Degree Apprenticeship as a Data Analyst at Queen Mary’s University through PWC (PricewaterhouseCooper). Ben is the first Cleeve Park Student to have been awarded a DofE Gold Award. read more

Dear Cleeve Park School, Listed below are the changes in the hope that you can inform students that use this service on your website or other means. In summary, it won’t serve the first/last two bus stops in Bexleyheath any more, as it will start and finish in Townley Road instead. read more

Children’s Mental Health Week
Children’s Mental Health Week will take place from 6 - 12 February 2023. The week is run by children’s mental health charity Place2Be and aims to shine a light on the importance of children and young people’s mental health. This year’s theme is Let’s Connect. Human beings are intrinsically connected to each other, and human connection is vital for the wellbeing and survival of all individuals. read more

"Window to our World" by the LGBTQ+ Club
Students were invited to the launch of Bexley Councils LGBTQ+ Celebrations, including the raising of the LGBTQ+ Progress Flag by the Mayor of Bexley. During the launch of Bexley Councils LGBTQ+ History Month Celebrations one of our Year 13 students was asked to speak about our LGBTQ+ Club and the 'Window to our World' display - you can see Ollie's speech on our Facebook Page. We are very proud to share these photos of artwork produced by our LGBTQ+ club. The ‘Window to our World’ display will be on show in Bexley Civic Office foyer for their LGBTQ history month exhibition - we hope you are able to view it during February. read more

Information for parents of students in Years 11, 12 & 13
Bexley Council are hosting an Apprenticeship & Participation Event on:
Monday 6th February 2023 - there are two sessions:
Session 1: 5.30pm to 7pm
Session 2: 7pm to 8.30pm

The event is aimed at students in Year 11 or aged between 16 & 24 years old.

Bugsy Malone Auditions
We are delighted to announce that this year we will be doing Bugsy Malone for our whole school production!
This is open to all KS3 students and those in Year 10 and 12.
The auditions for lead roles and ensemble parts are taking place on Friday (27th Jan) after school in the auditorium

Lynn Middleton Award
Every year our Teaching Assistants award the Lynn Middleton Award to one of our SEND students. Lynn was a former TA who inspired us all with her bravery, resilience and determination and each year the TAs like to recognise a student who exemplifies these characteristics. This year the TAs have chosen Hayden Player in Year 11 as the worthy winner of this award. Hayden is an inspiring young man who does not let his difficulties stop him from achieving what he sets his mind to. read more

Christmas Appeals 2022
Mr Stone, Assistant Head and ACE Programme Lead, would like to thank everyone who contributed towards our Christmas Appeals - The gifts have now been donated to the selected charities and they were very thankful.
Also, some of the donations have been used to provide Christmas presents for our own students for whom Christmas is a difficult time of year.
