Sports Day Information
Dear parents/ carers,
We are excited to announce our annual Sports Day will be held on Friday 17/07/26. Firstly, thank you so much to all those who have contributed towards our inflatables. This day is a fantastic opportunity for students to participate, show great Pride, Commitment and Success and enjoy a day of physical activity. Whilst we cannot allow for parents to watch sports day we hope that you will be able to see the great fun and excitement through our social media channels.
Students should arrive at school at the usual time of 8:30 AM for registration in their form rooms. They will participate in a rotation of activities throughout the day from traditional track and field events to Invasion games and inflatables. The canteen will be offering an exciting 'Sports Day BBQ' themed lunch. The day will conclude at 2:00PM for dismissal.
Uniform expectations
To foster team spirit and make the day extra colourful, each form has been designated a specific team colour to wear. Please ensure your child comes to school dressed in an appropriate kit of their form's designated colour. Comfortable sports attire and trainers are essential for their participation and safety.
Please note that they will be refused use of the inflatables if they have face paint or glitter.
Essentials
Please make sure your child brings the following:
-
Medication: If your child requires any medication throughout the day, please ensure it is brought to school and any spares given to
their form tutor who will be with them all day. Please ensure all necessary medication consent forms have been completed in advance. -
Water Bottle: It's vital that students stay hydrated. Please send your child with a refillable water bottle, and we will have designated refilling stations available.
-
Sun cream/hats: As we will be spending the entire day outside, please provide your child with sun cream/ hats.
Behaviour Expectations
Sports Day is about healthy competition and enjoyment for all. We expect all students to demonstrate exemplary behaviour, sportsmanship and respect for their peers, staff, and equipment throughout the day. Encouraging and supporting one another, regardless of winning or losing, is paramount.
We are looking forward to a fun and successful Sports Day. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
Sincerely,
Mr Eydmann
