UPDATE - 19/03/2020

19 March 2020

Dear Parents and Carers,

As I am sure you are aware the Government has taken the decision to significantly reduce the number of students coming into schools as from Monday 23rd March.  Schools will be closed to all students except the children of "key workers" and vulnerable students.  We need to get an early indication of the number of students for whom we need to keep the school open and have sent out a survey through My Ed that we would like you to complete by the end of the day.

Although the Government has not yet produced a list of key worker jobs, they have suggested that it is people who work in the NHS, the emergency services or the supply services such as supermarket delivery drivers.  We are expecting to get further details about this tomorrow and will update you as soon as the list is published.

We will also be issuing details of how students not in school will be continuing their education; details will follow by Friday afternoon.

We will be posting and updating all information that we have on our school website and we urge you to look here before contacting the school with any questions you may have because, as I am sure you appreciate, we are working hard to support the recent Government announcements and plan accordingly.

Due to the recent announcements my leaving date has been deferred in order for me to continue to support our school community.

Thank you for your continued understanding during these unprecedented times

Mrs J Tyler-Maher
Executive Head Teacher
