Sad News

21 July 2020

The parents of Henry Boswell would like us to inform you that Henry sadly lost his fight against cancer on 8th July 2020.

Henry joined Cleeve Park School at the end of Year 7 and from that moment onward kept us on our toes. He was a real ‘Jack the Lad’ and had a great sense of humour and cheeky smile.

Outside of school Henry had passion for boxing and showed great promise and talent, enough so that he was planning on taking it up professionally after leaving school.

Henry had just started his final year at Cleeve Park School in September 2019 and was gearing up with his friends in Year 11 to prepare for their upcoming GCSEs when he got the devastating news that he had been diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer.

The school, staff and students send their deepest sympathies and condolences to Henry’s friends and family at this time.

If students would like any support they can use the school email address or call Childline on 0800 1111 or visit the website at
