TKAT certainly does have Talent!

TKAT certainly does have Talent!

On Tuesday 11th July the twelve entrants from the following schools travelled to Sidcup to represent as the best of TKATs talented students in The Trust’s Got Talent finals 2017.

Rainham School for Girls

Kemnal Technology College

King Harold Academy

Debden Park High School

Welling School

Cleeve Park School

The winning act was from Rainham with an amazingly tight street dance group consisting of Katrina Evans, Tallulah Quinn, Hollie Harris & Milly Marley. The girls have been dancing together for 3 years and their commitment to win was there for everyone to see!

Massive congratulations must go to Cleeve Park School students Mia Berry and Grace Tarrant on their fantastic solo performances.  The talent was unbelievably high across all 6 schools taking part.

Mia 1  Grace2

Our own Grace Tarrant pulled off a beautifully haunting vocal performance to win her second place. What an achievement!

Third place went to Ryan Locke who’s confident and rousing vocal and guitar performance of Leonard Cohens ‘Halleluiah’ brought the audience to their feet in a standing ovation!

Well done to all the acts. It is inspiring and refreshing to see so much talent across the TKAT schools.

Thanks to all the (many!) staff who came along to support the students and thanks to all the students who came to support their mates too! Thank you must also go to Mr Southby for compering and to Year 13 students Ben, Amber, Ethan, Daniel, Victoria who made a really good job of the sound and lighting.

What a day! What a show!
