Exam Results 2017

Key stage 4:

We are pleased to announce our KS4 results were in line with national average this year, and our Progress 8 score was above average for non-selective schools in the borough. 61% of our pupils achieved a standard pass in English and Maths GCSEs (Grade 4+) and 42% of our pupils achieved a string pass in English and Maths GCSEs (Grade 5+).

Our Progress 8 score was +0.10 and this placed us 8th for progress amongst all Bexley Schools. Our Progress score was also in line with (or above) national average for all ability groups of children.

  • Progress 8 Score:+0.1
  • Attainment 8 score: 44.04
  • Percentage of students who achieved grade 4 or above in English and mathematics at the end of KS4:  61%
  • Percentage of students who achieved grade 4 or above in English and mathematics at the end of KS4:  42%
  • Percentage of  students who achieved the English Baccalaureate: 4%*

At Cleeve Park School our preference has been to encourage students and parents to make the subject choices which are best for the individual student, rather than restrict that choice by insisting that they take all of the EBACC subjects. Students who wish to take the EBACC subjects have been encouraged to do so and this will continue in the future.

Key Stage 5:

In KS5 our Vocational Qualification results were again far above the national average with an average grade of Distinction and an overall progress score of +0.41. This means that on average, every child sitting a vocational qualification in KS5 achieved almost half a grade above expectation. Please see further figures below.

  • Progress students have made in English: +1.45
  • Progress students have made in Maths: +0.4
